A few simple artwork issues can slow down a custom sticker order. Checking your file before uploading helps your proof move faster and reduces the chance of production delays.
Low resolution artwork
Raster artwork such as JPG, PNG, or flattened files should be at least 300 DPI at the final print size. A small image stretched larger can print blurry, soft, or pixelated.
If you have vector artwork such as AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF, that is often better for logos, text, and cut paths.
Tiny text or fine detail
Text that looks readable on a screen can become too small once printed. Fine lines, thin fonts, and small details can also lose clarity at smaller sticker sizes.
Check the artwork at the final print size before uploading.
No bleed around the design
Bleed is extra artwork that extends past the cut line. It helps avoid thin unprinted edges after trimming or cutting. If your design has a coloured background or image that reaches the edge, include enough bleed.
Important details too close to the cut edge
Keep text, faces, borders, logos, and fine detail slightly inside the cut line. Cutting has a small tolerance, so important parts should not sit right on the edge.
Unclear or missing cutline
If you supply your own cutline, it should be a vector path on a separate clearly labelled layer. If you do not know how to prepare one, upload your artwork and we can prepare it for production.
Clear sticker white areas
For clear stickers, white areas may become transparent by default. If your design needs solid white ink or an opaque underbase, contact us before ordering because it may need custom setup.
Wrong size or orientation
Upload your artwork in the orientation you want it printed. The width and height should suit the artwork shape and final sticker size.
Quick pre-upload checklist
- Artwork is at least 300 DPI at final size, or supplied as vector artwork.
- Text is readable at the final printed size.
- Bleed is included where needed.
- Important details are away from the cut edge.
- Cutline is clear if supplied.
- Clear sticker white areas have been considered.
- Size and orientation are correct.
After you order, we will send a digital proof so you can check the layout before production begins.
