I’m not sure what size my design is

No worries β€” here’s how to measure it with our Virtual Image Ruler tool:

  1. Upload your artwork (JPG, PNG, SVG, GIF or PDF) into the ruler tool.Β Β
  2. Position and resize your design so it fits just inside the fixed grey ruler bars on theΒ top and left. Use corner handles, the slider, or mouse wheel to adjust.Β Β
  3. (Optional) ToggleΒ Snap to 0.5β€―cm grid, or manually enter the longest side in cm and hitΒ ApplyΒ for precise sizing.Β Β
  4. Read your live dimensions (inΒ cm & inches) in the bottom-right β€” that’s the size you enter on the product page.Β
Do clear stickers include a white ink under-base?

By default,Β clear stickers are printed without a white ink under-base, which means lighter or pastel colours may appear slightly translucent when applied to darker or coloured surfaces. This creates a see-through effect, which can look great for certain designs (like subtle branding or glass applications) but may not suit all artwork.

If you need your colours to appearΒ fully opaque and vibrant, we can add aΒ white ink under-baseΒ beneath your design.

What to know about white ink under-base:

  • It requiresΒ special file preparationΒ (separating the white layer from your design).
  • There isΒ extra setup time and printing cost, as the process involves additional passes and ink usage.
  • Proofs will clearly indicate where the white ink will be applied so you can approve it before printing.

To request this option, simply note it when uploading your artwork or contact us directly for a quote.

Do you offer spot colour holographic stickers?

Yes! We can produceΒ custom holographic stickersΒ withΒ spot coloursΒ (specific solid colours matched to your design). These are printed onΒ holographic vinylΒ and can be combined with full-colour printing, white ink layers, or selective holographic effects.

Key things to know:

  • Spot colours can be printed asΒ solid fills or overlaysΒ on holographic material.
  • To make certain elementsΒ pop (while keeping other areas holographic), aΒ white ink under-layerΒ may be required for those spot colours.
  • This process needsΒ special file preparationΒ (layered artwork with spot colour and white ink channels) andΒ incurs extra costsΒ due to setup and additional print passes.
  • We’ll send aΒ proof showing how the holographic and spot colour effects will appearΒ before production.

For a quote or help preparing your artwork for spot colour holographic stickers,Β contact us or mention this when placing your order.

I’ve ordered the wrong sticker product β€” what can I do?

Please contact us immediately if you’ve selected the wrong size, finish, or sticker type. If your order hasn’t entered production, we may be able to update it.

However, we don’t offer refunds as all our products are custom made to order. Once production has started, changes or cancellations are no longer possible. Please double-check your artwork and order details before checking out β€” and feel free to reach out if you need help beforehand.

Production

Below are some common questions about our production

How long does it take you to make my stickers?

We know how exciting it can be to see your designs come to life, and we want to get your stickers to you as soon as we can. In most cases, we can produce your stickers on the same day you place your order. However, depending on the complexity and quantity of your order, production turnaround times may vary. Don't worry - we'll keep you updated on the status of your order and let you know when you can expect to receive your stickers.

Once production is completed, we'll get your stickers packed and shipped right away. You'll be able to track your order and know exactly when it will arrive at your doorstep. We know how eager you are to get your hands on your stickers, so we'll do everything we can to get them to you as quickly as possible

What equipment and materials do you use?

At StickerFlex, we understand that the quality of the materials and equipment used can make a big difference in the final product. That's why we only use the best industry-standard materials and equipment in our production process.

We only use premium high-quality "branded" materials that are commonly used in professional signage. These materials have been carefully selected for their durability, vibrant colors, and ability to withstand the elements, so you can be confident that your stickers will look great for years to come.

Similarly, we use professional-grade high-end equipment for printing and cutting our stickers. These machines are designed to produce accurate and precise cuts and prints, ensuring that your stickers have clean edges and vibrant colors. This advanced technology helps us produce high-quality stickers that are perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.

In addition, our team is highly trained and experienced in operating and maintaining this equipment. This ensures consistent high-quality stickers and that they are produced with efficiency and speed.

At StickerFlex, you can be confident that you're getting the highest-quality stickers made with the best materials and equipment in the industry.

Do you offer custom design services for stickers?

Currently we do not offer custom design services. We focus on providing high-quality sticker production based on designs you provide.

How accurate will my stickers be cut out?

At StickerFlex, your stickers will be cut with a high level of precision, maintaining a tolerance of up to 0.5-1.0mm. This means that while we aim for utmost accuracy, there can be a slight variation of up to 1mm from your specified design. This tolerance level is a balance between the inherent behavior of sticker materials, the capabilities of cutting technology, design complexities, and the nuances of bulk production. Our process ensures that your stickers are of high quality and closely match your design, with a slight allowance for these technical and material considerations.

Can you adjust the colours in my design?

No, we do not adjust the colors in your design. We believe in maintaining the integrity and originality of your artwork. To ensure the final product matches your vision, please provide the design with the correct colors before submission.

Artwork Preparation

Below are some common questions about our preparing your artwork

Do I need to add a cutline for my custom stickers?

If you’re providing your own cutline, please place it on a separate, clearly labelled layer (e.g. β€œCut Line”), ensure it’s a vector path, extend your artwork at least 3–4β€―mm beyond the cutline for bleed, and keep all important elements (like text or logos) at least 3β€―mm inside the cutline to avoid trimming issues during production.

What file formats do you accept for custom stickers?

We accept the following file formats for your custom sticker designs:

  • JPEG/JPG
  • PNG
  • EPS
  • PSD
  • AI (Adobe Illustrator)
  • SVG

These formats ensure we can provide the best quality for your custom stickers. If you have any questions or need assistance with your design, don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to help!

Should I submit my artwork in RGB or CMYK for sticker printing?

That’s a fantastic question! When you’re getting your artwork ready for printing, the colour mode you select can have a big impact. Here’s a simple breakdown of the two options:

  • RGB (Red, Green, Blue): This colour mode is primarily used for digital displays, like your computer or TV screen. It’s a bit like mixing coloured lights - the more you add, the closer you get to white light. But here’s the thing: while RGB is perfect for screens, it doesn’t work as well for print. The bright colours you see on your screen might end up looking dull and not quite right when printed.
  • CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key/Black): This is the preferred colour mode for printing. It’s a bit like mixing paint - the more colours you add, the closer you get to black. CMYK is designed to give accurate and consistent colours in print. So, even though it might not look quite right on your screen, you can trust that it will look good when printed.

In short, if you’re preparing artwork for custom stickers, it’s best to go with CMYK. This will ensure that the colours of your stickers match your original design as closely as possible. If you’re still unsure or need help with your design, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’re here to help!

What is the recommended resolution for sticker designs?

For the best quality printing, we recommend that your sticker designs be at a resolution of 300 DPI (dots per inch). This ensures that your design will be clear and sharp when printed.

What happens if my design is below 300 DPI?

Designs with a resolution lower than 300 DPI may result in a print that's blurry or pixelated. We strongly advise using high-resolution images to achieve the best quality stickers.

How are sticker sizes determined?

The size you enter when ordering is based on your artwork exactly as it’s submitted. We don’t rotate or reorient your design when sizing β€” the measurements apply to the artwork as provided.
